The Hotel du Commerce ceased trading in 2023 on account of the retirement of the proprietors.
The Hotel du Commerce was a very nice 3*** hotel that had been in the same family for five generations. Vaiges is a small town near the Sarthe/Mayenne border and just under one hour drive from the circuit. The hotel had its own large car park and a very attractive garden and swimming pool. For those who wished to combine some sightseeing with motor racing it was near to some major tourist attractions.
The chef, Samuel Oger, had been awarded the title Maître Restaurateur – and those who had eaten in the restaurant know why!
