Vintage Revival Montlhéry 07 et 08 mai 2022
VINMOG a été le premier club à soutenir cet évènement dès sa création. En 2017 et 2019, avec nos amis du Morgan Club de France, avec qui nous avons partagé la marquise, nous présentions 100 voitures au pied de l'anneau.
VINMOG a réservé des chambres, à 4* Novotel Evry Courcouronne, quinze minutes du circuit.
Ce circuit, un des derniers encore en activité, revêt pour nous une importance particulière, car c'est là qu'entre 1928 et 1930, Gwenda Stewart et S C H (Sammy) Davis, ont battu 60 records du monde dans la classe des cycle-cars, avec entre autres en 1928, le record de vitesse à 101,5 miles en une heure, couvrant 1553 miles en 24 heures.
Nous vous proposons 3 nuits avec petits déjeuners et repas du soir.
Les prix seront de l'ordre de (à déterminer) € pour 2 personnes partageant une chambre.
Après les courses, une parade gratuite est prévue si aucun retard ne l'empêche. Elle se fera à allure modeste derrière un pace car.

VinMog has always supported this great event – in 2017 and 2019, together with our good friends the Morgan Club de France we had around one hundred Morgan displayed right by the spectacular banking, with a marquee shared between us.
VinMog has reserved a number of rooms at the 4* Novotel Evry Courcouronne (just 14 kilometers from the Autodrome). For those that do not know it Montlhéry (or to give it its full title L’Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry) is one of the last banked circuits in use today. It is of particular importance to Morgan as it was here that, between 1928 and 1930, Gwenda Stewart and S. C. H. (Sammy) Davis collected some sixty world records in cyclecar classes – including (in 1928) 101.5 miles in one hour, and covering 1553 miles in 24 hours
The deal will include three night’s B&B with evening meals.
The provisional price, including full weekend entry tickets, rally plaque and the use of the VinMog marquee is TBD € for TWO people (sharing one hotel room). The reason we have to make the price provisional is that not all costs are fully known this far ahead of the event.
There will be the possibility to take part in a parade lap at the end of the weekend – but note this is dependent upon there being no delays during the actual event and it will be behind an official car at a fairly sedate pace. There will be no extra cost for this.
